“It is finished!” (John 19:30 AMP) He is awaiting us.

I posted this on the Bridge youth blog back in June, but I still feeling it for today, so I thought I would repost it on here.

“OUR REST IS IN THE REVELATION (AND BELIEF) OF HIS COMPLETED WORK…”

FATHER, I PRAY THAT YOU WOULD ESTABLISH US
“IN YOU”
THAT WE WOULD BE ROOTED AND GROUNDEDIN
YOUR LOVE;
SEATED IN HEAVENLY PLACES WITH CHRIST;
(AND) BE INTEGRATED
IN OUR
BODIES, SOULS AND SPIRITS.
THAT WE MIGHT BE SET UPON THE PATH
YOU ALREADY PREPARED
FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD
ON WHICH WE ARE TO WALK.
ENLARGE US
AND FILL US
WITH FAITH TO BELIEVE.
d
I WOULD ASK OF YOU,
GOD OF THE SEEING EYES AND THE HEARING EARS,
COME ON OUR BEHALF
AND UNVEIL THE MYSTERIES YET BEFORE US.
DO FOR US
d
WHAT WE CANNOT DO FOR OURSELVES;
THAT WE MIGHT ENTER INTO THE REST YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR US;
AND FOR WHICH YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR US…
AMEN.

Truth encompasses all:

What is truth??

I was doing some research on the Hebrew word Truth and this is what I discovered:

“In Hebrew, the word for truth, emet, contains the first, middle and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which seems to suggest that truth contains everything from Aleph to Tav.

Since truth is all-encompassing, there is always a place for it to be practiced - there is literally no place or experience that is exempted from its presence - and therefore, there is always the demand to live in its light. Indeed, God Himself is called the Spirit of Truth (Ruach HaEmet) (John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13).”

It’s funny how God does this isn’t it? In Revelation 22:13, He says “"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last,” (and I add in) and everything in between. He is truth.
Hey everyone! I just wanted to say a little about why I am starting this blog. For as long as I could remember I have sought after truth. To know truth, in whatever form it may come; sometimes contradicting with everything I was told to believe. This desire for truth is directly linked to a yearning to truly know Him.

For the past few years I have kept journals of certain “unmistaken truths” that God has shown me. I began rereading these recently and decided to share a bit with you all. I know that we live in a world where “truth” is relative, but the reality is that He is truth, and He is consistent. So as a friend of mine says “eat the meat and spit out the bones” when reading this. I love you all and look forward to sharing with you!
